The Crown- Kiera Cass- 5 star review

Hello Readers,

Well I did a blunder and a half so instead of reading book 4 of the Selection series I ended up reading book 5 so the reviews will be out of order now. I'm reading book 4 so I will have that one up next.

The Crown

35 suitors entered the Selection. Only 1 will win her heart. The fifth and final captivating novel in Kiera Cass’s #1 New York Times bestselling Selection series!
In The Heir, a new era dawned in the world of The Selection. Twenty years have passed since America Singer and Prince Maxon fell in love, and their daughter is the first princess to hold a Selection of her own.
Eadlyn didn’t think she would find a real partner among the Selection’s thirty-five suitors, let alone true love. But sometimes the heart has a way of surprising you… and now Eadlyn must make a choice that feels more difficult – and more important – than she ever expected.

5 Star Review-

From the start of the book I was instantly finding myself rooting for Eadlyn who seemed to be under a great deal of pressure with her job and the fact her mother was so ill. She finds her love life to be just as complicated as she tries to defend herself after people  start to question her reign. The Selection is taking a toll on her as she feels regret that she can't give them more of her time. Finally she gets to the point where the Selection is being sped up by outside forces who wish to do harm to her.

Nearing the end of the book she discovers the person who stole her heart and that he is outwith her reach. It torments her further that she can't be as happy as she hopes. Two of her suitors are in love with each other and that news makes her break the rules, yet leads her to breaking the rules herself. That is when she must make a hard decision. Turning to her father for help he offers her words of wisdom and that is when he reveals to her his own secrets. How her entire family have done the right thing in regards to love for some time.

It's a great deal of love in each word that is written, the enthusiasm that makes this series so special comes through the plot. What this author offers us is a great writing style that most people will find easy to get into. Its a hard book to not love.
