Review:

This was a great selection of stories that she put together for this book and it deserves the high praise it has received on Amazon and Goodreads alike. I loved them all myself except for Mech0.9 I did get confused in some parts of that story and it didn't feel like it belonged to the overall selection. It was the only one that I didn't enjoy. This selection helps to set a happy outlook on the series as you place them on the shelf to be loved and cherished.

Unite Me (Shatter Me #4) Tahereh Mafi - Review

Hello all,

I'm so excited to be reading the short stories that Tahereh Mafi has written. Such a talent has opened my eyes to other writing styles.

Unite Me (Shatter Me #4)
Tahereh Mafi

Perfect for fans of Tahereh Mafi's New York Times bestselling Shatter Me trilogy, this book collects her two companion novellas, Fracture Me and Destroy Me, in print for the first time ever. It also features an exclusive look into Juliette's journal and a preview of Ignite Me, the hotly anticipated final novel of the series.
Destroy Me tells the events between Shatter Me and Unravel Me from Warner's point of view. Even though Juliette shot him in order to escape, Warner can't stop thinking about her--and he'll do anything to get her back. But when the Supreme Commander of The Reestablishment arrives, he has much different plans for Juliette. Plans Warner cannot allow.
Fracture Me is told from Adam's perspective and bridges the gap between Unravel Me and Ignite Me. As the Omega Point rebels prepare to fight the Sector 45 soldiers, Adam's more focused on the safety of Juliette, Kenji, and his brother. The Reestablishment will do anything to crush the resistance . . . including killing everyone Adam cares about.
The Shatter Me series is perfect for fans who crave action-packed young adult novels with tantalizing romance like Divergent and The Hunger Games. This captivating story, which combines the best of dystopian and paranormal, was praised as "a thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love" by Ransom Riggs, bestselling author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

5/5 Review

Fracture Me- A wonderful point of view that gives us a different look. Aaron has just a shameful attitude and to see how he deals with his father is an eye opener. I was sucked into this short story and I love how Juliette just makes this book great. I have to say that I would have loved more of Warner's story. I can't wait to see if she will do a spin off.

Destroy Me- Seeing things through Adam's eyes was amazing. To know that he was having those feelings while trying to remain composed during the missions that are in Ingite Me made me feel more connected to Adam than I already was. I could see the reason he was aggressive in the final book and how he seemed to become enraged over the slightest thing.

Juliette's Journal- That was a very interesting read and would love to have more to digest and then I think I would be able to understand the leading female. I think that it was a great start that would let us look at her in a much more detailed light and made our connection to her even stronger. I think these short stories fanned the flames of readers of these books hearts. I don't think am alone when I hope for more books like this.

Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) by Tahereh Mafi

Hello All,

So I thought that I was on the last book of this series then I found the short stories that go with it and I will be doing those too. I'm glad that the book clubs I read with suggested these.

Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) By Tahereh Mafi

The heart-stopping third installment in the New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series, which Ransom Riggs, author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and Hollow City, called -a thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love.-
With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn't know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won't keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust. The same person who saved her life. He promises to help Juliette master her powers and save their dying world . . . but that's not all he wants with her.
The Shatter Me series is perfect for fans who crave action-packed young adult novels with tantalizing romance like Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and Legend by Marie Lu. Tahereh Mafi has created a captivating and original story that combines the best of dystopian and paranormal and was praised by Publishers Weekly as -a gripping read from an author who's not afraid to take risks.-

Review

My heart raced through this book and I didn't want to put it down as there was a wonder of whether she was going to live or die. Just as quickly as you get over that obstacle then you find yourself wondering which of the two that she will be with. There are some iffy moments that I would let a young teenager read for there a very thin line between Young Adult and Erotica in this book.

The action was well done and the plot holes are easy to miss if your not looking for them. It was a great ending to the saga and I didn't hope for more than what Tahereh Mafi gave me. If there is another book in this series then I'm going to be excited to get it. I hope that she will consider picking up the book series in the near future.

Perfect ending to the Dystopian themed war and end of the world style book.

Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2) By Tahereh Mafi

Hello all,

During my tense period of book releases, I managed to squeeze in the most important thing for any author. The chance to read. I hope that you are going to like what I have to say about "Unravel Me".  I'm about to start the last book in the series and I'm already getting knots in my stomach about how it will end.

Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2)
By Tahereh Mafi

The New York Times bestselling sequel to the groundbreaking dystopian novel Shatter Me! Kami Garcia, coauthor of the #1 New York Times bestselling Beautiful Creatures series, says Unravel Me is "dangerous, sexy, romantic, and intense. I dare you to stop reading."
Juliette is still haunted by her deadly touch. But now that she has teamed up with other rebels with powers of their own, she'll be able to fight back against The Reestablishment to save her broken world. With the help of these new allies, she'll also finally learn the secret behind Adam's--and Warner's--immunity to her killer skin.
Unravel Me is perfect for fans who crave action-packed young adult novels with tantalizing romance like Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and Legend by Marie Lu. Ransom Riggs, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, raves: "A thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love, the Shatter Me series is a must-read for fans of dystopian young-adult literature--or any literature!"

4/5 stars - Review

Despite the fact that I read the first one I found myself getting thrown out of the book on several occasions. It's a style I think you either find easy or you struggle with completely. I'm sort of in the middle when it comes to that. It lost a star with how close it came to become an adult book with the descriptions between her and the boy she loves. I just felt like it was maybe too much and could easily send the wrong ideas.

It was a great story in regards to the way that at long last Juliette grows from being that scared traumatised girl from the cell she was into the woman with strength and power. The love triangle makes the books interesting. There is so many twists in the book it does keep you interested and hanging off the page. The diary entry that took me a long time to figure out was something that threw me out of this book as well. This is a great dystopian book and I think it could be up there with the iikes of Divergence.

Shatter Me (Shatter #1) By Tahereh Mafi - Review

Hello All,

So I'm bouncing back into the dystopian sort of stories. I hope that you're going to enjoy the shift in reading material.

Shatter Me (Shatter #1) By Tahereh Mafi
I have a curse.
I have a gift.
I'm a monster.
I'm more than human.
My touch is lethal.
My touch is power.
I am their weapon.
I will fight back.
No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal, but The Reestablishment has plans for her. Plans to use her as a weapon. But Juliette has plans of her own. After a lifetime without freedom, she's finally discovering a strength to fight back for the very first time—and to find a future with the one boy she thought she'd lost forever.
In this electrifying debut, Tahereh Mafi presents a riveting dystopian world, a thrilling superhero story, and an unforgettable heroine.

4/5 Rating- Review

I flew through this book as the story was intense and was a great read that got me back into the genre with a swing. There were some things that made this book lose a star and I'm going to get into the reasons behind that shortly.

What I found hard was the style of the description threw me off along with mistakes that I wasn't expecting in a Harper book. I know that my books aren't clear of mistakes however there was a lot of moments when I was thrown out of the story by either a simple mistake or the style itself.

Don't get me wrong I love how different the book was and how strong the main characters were. The plot was developed very well and thought through from beginning to end. I want to say that the ending was dragged out a bit more than I was expecting. I think that it was a great first book to set up a series and I do want to see what happens next.

I found myself imagining Rouge from Xmen a lot and there were moments when I thought of the fantastic four, but not sure if that was meant or not. I wondered how many other people thought of those things. It was interesting and I will be continuing the series to see how the book saga goes.
