The Assassin's Blade - Sarah J Mass Review

Hello all,

So I've got the Christmas holidays coming up fast and I find myself getting sucked into the books that I tend to like at the end of the year. I have to say I was surprised I wanted to read this one as quickly as I did after struggling with the last one. Anyway let me get into the book review.

The Assassin's Blade Novelas - Sarah J Mass

Find out where the Throne of Glass journey began in this irresistible bind-up of all five of #1 New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas's Assassin novellas
Celaena Sardothien is Adarlan's most feared assassin. As part of the Assassins' Guild, her allegiance is to her master, Arobynn Hamel, yet Celaena listens to no one and trusts only her fellow killer-for-hire, Sam.
In these action-packed prequel novellas - together in one edition for the first time - Celaena embarks on five daring missions. They take her from remote islands to hostile deserts, where she fights to liberate slaves and seeks to avenge the tyrannous. But she is acting against Arobynn's orders and could suffer an unimaginable punishment for such treachery . . .
Explore the dark underworld of this kick-ass heroine and find out how the legend begins in the five page-turning prequel novellas to the New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series.

5 Star Review

Not every short story in this collection of Novela's was worth the 5 stars so what I did was rate each one separately on my Goodreads page. The desert novels dragged in some spots and made it slightly uncomfortable to read. I di, however, dive into it and got really interested in some of the Sam Cortland's history with Celaena and these stories tie well into the series and will make the first book that bit better, sweeter. I have to say I'm in love with how she made all these stories fit and come together well. I can't wait to see how she will end the series. I say she earned the five stars with how she managed to pull it all together.
